Operations of this food outlet began in 1986 at Parkway and later in 1988 to Thomson till current, it is a family business run restaurant by its first generation of Katie, the present owner’s mother then. Being the 2nd generation, Katie still adopts her mother’s home recipe in its soup base of Tom Yam and its punchy tangy chilli sauce served on the table for customers. Their signature steamboat has all the freshest items prepared daily for consumption and there are over 50 dishes for the steamboat to choose from.
On top of steamboat, they also have their signature fried rice that is cooked with ginger slices which is a Cantonese style recipe. This dish was born when one day, the crew was eating it as lunch and patrons commented on the fragrance it exudes and suggested to Katie to put the dish onto the menu. Since then, they offer the fried rice to patrons alike.
