They provide house catering too besides having two adjoining stalls offering up tasty Indian Muslim food such as their signatures of crispy chicken biryani, prata and mee rebus. Their prata is famous that won an accolade being one of the best prata in town and their crispy chicken biryani is a dish that you do not want to miss out with, as the crispiness is felt upon a morsel eaten with plump chicken thigh that oozes of flavours.
The business was started in 1960’s with a pushcart selling their prata and briyani by Mr Malik’s grandfather at De’ Almeida Road and him taking over in 1997 for the full operations of stalls currently. Mr Malik now teams up with his wife who prepares the dishes daily and him serving orders. Occasionally, their daughter helps out during the weekends.
